British GT: Porsche returns full-time with Jones, Müller and Team Parker Racing

20 March 2025

Porsche will join the British GT Championship full-time this year with a current 992-spec 911 GT3 R courtesy of Team Parker Racing, Nick Jones and factory driver Sven Müller.

2025 will mark the first full-season entry since the previous-generation car competed in the series back in 2022, with Nick Jones also piloting the car then. Jones won the GT4 Pro-Am championship in 2018, while he also gave the 992 model its British GT debut in 2023.

Jones’ co-driver Sven Müller has a raft of experience, having been a Porsche factory driver since 2017. The German-Swiss driver has won both the Porsche Supercup and Carrera Cup Germany titles as well as competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship, Super GT and GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS.

While Müller will contest the vast majority of the championship alongside Jones, clashing commitments prevent him from contesting Spa-Francorchamps in June. British driver Harry King – who has lifted titles in the Ginetta GT Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Benelux – will deputise for that event.

Müller said: “I’m very excited for this season and my first time in British GT. I really like the English tracks like Silverstone and Brands Hatch, and I’m looking forward to learning some of the new ones across the year - I’ll have some simulator practice to get up to speed, for sure.”

Jones said: “I’m really looking forward to being back in British GT this year and reuniting with both Team Parker Racing and Sven. Racing in Europe over the last few years has been refreshing and I’ve learned a lot; new tracks, new styles of racing and new techniques, so I’m excited to see how that will translate back into British GT.”
