Mikey Doble will continue in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship for a third straight season after re-signing with Motor Parts Direct with Power Maxed Racing.

Following a successful 2024 campaign where he secured the Jack Sears Trophy, the 26-year-old is set to become the team’s longest-serving driver, competing in a Vauxhall Astra again this season.

Last season, Doble claimed 15 class wins, a maiden overall podium at Oulton Park, and seven Independent wins, also while helping Power Maxed Racing secure the Independent Teams’ title for the first time.

The news follows a new joint title partnership, resulting in the newly named Motor Parts Direct with Power Maxed Racing for 2025.

Mikey Doble said: “I’m thrilled to be returning to the BTCC for a third straight year and aiming to kick on from what has already been an amazing couple of years in the championship. I’m delighted to be doing it with Power Maxed Racing and leading the charge there, showing everyone, our best is yet to come.

“This year we’re looking to take things up to the next level by challenging for podiums on a more regular basis, taking that Independent Drivers’ title and ultimately winning a race – it won’t be a success in my eyes if we don’t do the latter.”

The opening rounds of the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship take place at Donington Park on 26/27 April.
