The returning Bobby Thompson topped the second practice session at Snetterton in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.
The Zeus Cloud Racing with WSR driver controlled the session going faster and faster in his first weekend with the BMW 330e M Sport. He finished with a 2m10.375s, 0.382s clear of second placed Dan Cammish, the leading NAPA Racing UK driver.
FP1 pacesetter Jake Hill was third fastest in the Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport BMW, continuing his strong pace this weekend. Championship leader Ashley Sutton ended the session fourth fastest with Colin Turkington for Team BMW making it three BMWs in the top five.
Mikey Doble built on his pace in FP1 to place sixth for Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing with Rob Huff in seventh. Eighth went to Daniel Rowbottom with Brands Hatch Race Three winner Ronan Pearson in ninth, the lead Hyundai. Aron Taylor-Smith rounded out the top ten.
The Quick-Six Qualifying session is next up and is due to start at 15.30.
