GT Battle debuts at Snetterton to celebrate 20 years of Time Attack this July.
This event celebrates 20 years since the very first event organised by Club Time Attack - GT Battle. The event took place in July 2005 and was the first time both Time Attack and Drifting were featured in a professional event format in the UK, heralding the start of both sports. This event at Snetterton will follow the original format of GT Battle.
Indeed, circuit action will be headlined by the aforementioned Time Attack UK, two decades on from the debut of this unique motorsport spectacle. Modified monsters will compete to set the fastest lap times possible, while the all-new for 2025 Ultimate Racing Championship will feature modern-era touring car action.
The Racing Hondas Championship will take to the 200 circuit, while a 0-60 sprint and drifting competition will feature on the 100 circuit. Off-track activity includes modified car displays from a range of car clubs and a busy exhibitor area featuring leading tuning brands and a range of retail stalls.

The Tyrrells stand provides a superb view of the 300 circuit’s infield section. Watch the field accelerate out of Palmer, passing the stand as they race towards Agostini and then head back through the high-speed Hamilton kink.
Time Attack Championship
The UK’s fastest tuned cars go head to head to find out who is the quickest. Featuring 9 different classes of competition, all attempting to set the quickest lap, these are the fastest tuning cars in the UK.
Racing Hondas Championship
The UK’s largest grid of one-make Honda racing championship. Door to door racing action from these screaming V-Tec monsters. Pure and action packed club racing at its finest, a must for any Honda fan.
Drift Pro Competition
The UK’s pinnacle events for drifting, featuring the best cars and drivers from around the UK. Incredible sideways action at unbelievable speed and incredible car control, a must for all the family to watch.
Ultimate Racing Championship
Turbo charged Touring Cars. An action packed grid of modern era touring cars in the UK’s newest Motorsport UK endorsed touring car championship. A mixed multi-marque grid where close racing and action is always guaranteed.
Car Club Displays
Here you will see some of the finest Modified cars on display in the UK. If you are in a club we guarantee you a fantastic day out and if you aren’t then just come along look at the cars and chat with the owners. Applications will be open here soon.
Show and Shine
Awards include - Car of Show | Concierge Class | Show Class | Punter's Choice. All voted by written slips and posted in a box by the public.
Trade Stands
A trade area will be in operation all weekend, with dealers and manufacturers represented, plus championship partners and stalls selling parts, accessories and driver and team merchandise.
Free Parking
All general parking is free of charge. Blue badge holders should follow public signage for disabled parking, or alternatively speak to a member of staff on arrival.
Adventure Playground
Check out the Snetterton playground near Tyrrells restaurant, which has equipment for children of all ages from toddler to 14.
